Jerry is a leading litigator and counselor at the firm. He has expertise in construction litigation, surety bonds and commercial disputes. He has handled large cases involving construction and design defects, claims against performance and payment bonds, delay damages, cost overruns, incomplete projects, failure to pay for materials or services and mechanics liens. He has advised clients on commercial, residential, industrial, office, senior living and mining projects. Jerry has a strong background in landlord-tenant, bankruptcy, creditor's rights and commercial transactions. He has appeared in cases in the Rocky Mountain States, various federal jurisdictions and before the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). He has worked on real estate transactions of values up to $15 million, and dealt with numerous distressed commercial tenants. Jerry was the President of the Cherry Creek North Central Denver Business District for 1995-1996, overseeing construction, maintenance, development, zoning and special district issues. Jerry has often been a speaker at seminars on construction, suretyship and creditor's rights. He has written 18 articles on construction and surety issues.
