Peggy is a trial lawyer, experienced in handling a wide variety of civil litigation matters. Her practice focuses on defending various corporations and businesses in trucking and transportation, personal injury, construction defect and product liability. Based on her experience, she frequently counsels clients how to minimize, control and prevent losses. She has a proven record of accurately analyzing the value of cases, settling when appropriate and trying cases where the opponent is unreasonable.

Peggy is a member of Godin & Baity's transportation law team and Rapid Response Team and regularly represents trucking clients in the evaluation of regulatory compliance issues and in handling complex accident litigation and cargo claims. Through her memberships in the Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA), Colorado Motor Carriers Association (CMCA) and Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), Peggy keeps current with regulatory and other changes prevalent in the transportation industry.

Peggy also works on the construction law team and frequently represents general contractors, developers and subcontractors in residential defect claims. She has defended a multi-national engineering firm against a construction delay claim in an arbitration before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Peggy appears in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitration forums. She is fluent in Spanish and has utilized this ability in immigration and other litigation.
